A beautiful heartwarming piece. You are so right sometimes we forget the positives in our lives.
This has been perhaps one of my most difficult year (health issues) yet after reading your piece I realised I have learnt more about myself this year than in all previous years. I have learnt about detachment, gratitude,
Love, anger (fear) disappointment I know and understand myself better than ever.
So yes search for the good in the year, your life and you will be filled with wonder and love of the self and all who support us through our trials and lessons
