How can touch heal?

The act of touching can be caring and nurturing. It can be as simple as a soft cupping of the cheek or a light hand on your arm. This kind of touch can instantly relax your entire body, especially when there are no expectations attached to it. It’s truly amazing how we can contribute to each other and our bodies through touch, yet the art of conscious touch seems to have been lost.

How does this work?

Touch is essentially an exchange of energy, a giving and receiving at the same time. Just like you can’t give a hug without receiving one in return, touching a body works the same way.

When you touch someone, both bodies come alive. Touch is a form of nurturing, kindness, and care that our bodies often lack. Many of us have been conditioned to believe that touch is only acceptable in certain situations, leading us to neglect this important aspect of our lives.

It’s important to understand that our bodies don’t operate based on the same judgments that we do. Our bodies don’t require touch to lead to something more or to come from a specific person. They simply respond with gratitude to any form of touch, much like animals do. Imagine if you could listen to what your body needs in terms of touch. Start by loving yourself and be kind and gentle when washing or applying cream to your body. It could be receiving a nurturing massage, a hug, spending time with loved ones or pets, getting a haircut, or a pedicure. There are countless ways to provide your body with the touch it craves.

Many years ago a dear friend of mine told me about a journey she took in France; where she walked in Mary Magdalene’s footsteps.  When I heard this I just knew that this is something I had to add to my bucket list…  Spirit works in amazing ways, and about 3 years ago I met an amazing lady called Ann-Sabine Lacroix, who conducts these journeys…. and last month I was very blessed to join one of them.

I posted it in my newsletter at the end of last year, and most of the small group attending came from South Africa.  It started off with such ease, that even our flights were unbelievably supportive – I had 3 seats to myself – to spread out and sleep in comfort.

The first day of our adventure took us to St Baume where we visited the cave that Mary Magdalene lived in for 30 years.  The walk started gently through the most beautiful forest, then then slowly become steeper until we got to the grotto which is on a sheer cliff face.  The grotto is huge, very damp and cold and I wondered how she managed to live there for so long.  The entrance to the grotto is church like – which confirms that she would hold sermons during her time there.  Mary Magdalene is said to hold the divine and sacred feminine energy – which is purely heart centered.  Interesting how through the ages both she and her lineage have been negated and vilified.

After spending time in this sacred space – we climbed right to the very top to visit the little chapel.  Oh my… this tested all my strength and courage, as I am both unfit and petrified of heights.  After a struggle and many tears – I made it, and felt such a huge sense of achievement in doing so.  I was so very grateful for Ann-Sabine who was a truly supportive angel helping me to make it to the top.  Thank goodness too for all the Access Body processes that I have in my tooldbox.  I kept running a couple of them – and this helped tremendously with the cramps during the walks (10 – 14km’s per day) and the best thing was that I had very little stiffness the following day – How does it get better than that?

The 2nd day of our journey took us to the Camargue where on this special day  thousands of Europe’s Gypsies gather in one place to participate in the Gitan Pilgrimage. The legend has it that after the crusifiction of Jesus; Saint Sara, Saint Marie-Jacobé, and St Marie-Salomé  arrived here from Palestine giving this small seaside town its name—Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. There’s a medieval church in the town that is home to the statue of Sara-la-Kali or the Black Sara—the patron saint of Gypsies. Every year a  procession moves through the town with an effigy that represents Sara and led by men on horses.  They carry the statue to the beach and go into the water to re-enact their arrival, while other participants sing, play music, and dance.  After the statue is returned to the church, the celebration continues through the night. This event is a great illustration of Gypsy faith and culture.  We were fascinated by the vibrancy, devotion and passion they all had for their Saint.

Many of them wore traditional outfits and this is a time of reconnecting with family and friends and also for matchmaking.

We were fascinated by this couple who we were sure were being introduced to each other by a matchmaker.  Even more amazing was a photo that Marilyn took which shows a dimensional shift.  Take a look at her face below (it looks like only half of her face with another one behind it) – and also notice the line down the center – almost where the light and dark meet…  Do you think her mask slipped for that brief moment?

The rest of our journey was just as amazing.  A different town each day – with completely different landscapes and energies.  Each one a gift in it’s own right.  I had a fantastic experience in the cathedral in Carcassone – where I connected very tangibly with Christ’s energy.  The Cathars had all been brutally tortured and killed there by the jealous religious sect, and I had a sense that the energy I felt was a blessing bestowed upon those of us that had been there at the time – letting us know that it was okay and that we had all instantly shifted easily into the light – and that it was time to let go of the fear of persecution that so many of us still hold in the memories of our cells.

Our wonderful excursion ended in Lourdes, which was where Mother Mary’s apparition appeared.  She blessed the waters with healing energy and invited the sick to drink the water or be bathed in it for healing.  Because of this many many people come from all over the world.  Most in desperation or even to remain there until they pass.  Because of this – many people struggle with the energy in this town – which is filled with hotels and touristy shops.  We however spent most of our time basking in the reverence of the holy places, and the beauty of the immense mosaic works depicting Christ’s life were truly magnificent.

I brought some of holy water back with me, and am now using it in all of my angel sprays.  Using it has amplified the energy of the sprays considerably and some people have even noticed that they smell different.  I think it all depends on where you are in your life at the time.  For some it is a little daunting to handle the higher vibration, but I know it will help to hold us all gently as we make our transition into the 5th dimension.

My year started with the most incredible adventure. I feel so very blessed on so many levels. My year began with an adventure journey to France, where I connected with incredible people. I also did some deep karmic clearing.

I was invited to spend a few days in Lyon with Ann-Sabine. Ann-Sabine is a distributor of my divine oils and sprays in France. We had so much fun … We laughed, walked, talked and laughed some more.  We also enjoyed wonderful french food nurturing our bodies.

Allowing the energy of receiving

I did a talk to a room full of the most charming people from all over the world, including Tahiti. How did I get to be so lucky? And the best thing of all this trip, was that I fully embraced and allowed the energy of receiving. The energy of receiving created a space for the gifts to keep flowing  From people who traveled for miles to see me and even reconnected with my very special opera star from Australia.  Liz, how wonderful to see you and to meet your truly special family.  I feel so very blessed that we were in the same country at the same time.  Divine synchronicity.

I attended the Advanced 3 day Body class training with the head of Access Consciousness – Gary Douglas

Gary Douglas and I played for 3 days with body processes that can literally blow your socks off.  These extremely powerful processes are additions to the Access Bar’s work.  The Bars clears past patterns and programs from the mind. Access Bars is done by simply cradling the head for an hour. Cradeling the head for an hour deletes files that no longer serve you.  The Body processes are different, in that by calling them up and holding the space to allow them to activate, you begin to communicate with and remind the cells of their truest potential.  Mmmmm…  too yummy and I had a very happy body after gifting and receiving these for 3 days.

I lost my voice directly after the training.  I had 3 days of sightseeing planned and was not going to let a dumb cold hold me down, so in the wind, sleet and rain I went. For three days I stomping the streets and revisited my roots.  Finding the unfinished threads so that I could release any unfinished business….  (we wont even go into the energy I picked up in Notredam… suffice it to say that it was my last stop on my journey).

The depth of my silent voice

I did not realize how deep the voiceless me went. When I  returned to South Africa my assistant had lost her voice the day I arrived, and Toni – my beautiful chef who prepares such wonderful lunches for my courses, had lost hers when she read a WhatsApp message I sent her.  Toni shared that she felt I had been healing all those women out there, who were unheard through the ages. Whew!!  No pressure!!

So now I am back – all my bodies are back and so is my voice…  And I can feel how different I am, and this is confirmed when I look around me, and things are different.  Have you ever noticed a building that was not there before?  Or scenery that is either not familiar, or very familiar even if you have never been there before?  This is a confirmation of a reality shift – either a raise in consciousness or stepping onto a new timeline.  Sounds weird, I know, but hey… how much easier could it get than that?  On the way home from the airport I noticed many differences and loved this confirmation.

I am so excited about what this year will bring, and jumped straight into teaching the day after I arrived.  The course was pure magic, and the energy and light in the space and in each person just blew us all away.

I first heard about, and experienced the Access Bars in August 2012.  The work had recently come to South Africa, and i went for my first session at a time when all my wheels were coming off.  My business had become very quiet and I wondered if there was still a need for my colour products and courses in the country.

I know this happens when my work needs to take a new direction or perhaps to anchor a new different energy into what I already do – so I was eager to find out about this new modality.

How Does it Work?

While the therapist held my head it felt so gentle that i wondered if it was doing anything at all.  The therapist cradled my head for an hour – gently touching and activating 32 different points.  She held each series of hand positions for about 5 minutes, and explained that  each point resonated with the stored energy of every thought, belief, idea, attitude and decision  that I have about everything in my life.  Just by holding those points these considerations where being cleared – like wiping the board, so that you could re-write your story.

Sounds almost too good to be true, doesn’t it?

Well all I can say is that after my first session, I was completely dis-orientated and it felt as if the therapist had taken my brain out, chopped it up like macaroni and put it back into my head again.  This really showed me how powerful it was.

2 weeks later I knew that I needed another one.  The feeling I had after the 2nd one, was very different to the first.

Effects after the Treatment

I was grounded, energised and felt light and clear – as if my brain had a spring clean…  I bounced out of her room on a high, and knew that I had to share this with as many people as possible.  It felt so wonderful, that I now have a Bars treatment every week – to keep me in that amazing head space.

I immediately signed up for the course and within a couple of months had completed all the requirements to run Bars courses.

The bars treatment is the first step in a whole new way of being, thinking, teaching and living.  The philosophy and teachings of Access Consciousness resonated wth everything I have ever known and the shifts that have happened in my life, is a testiment to its truth.

Body Processes

I have completed many different Access courses, including the Body Processes training.  This is the most exciting of all – as I am now able to offer these to my clients as well.  These are amazing hands on processes (no massage and no removal of clothing) – just laying your hands on the body and running the processes… It is so simple that even children are able to do them.   Like switching on the lights…  as you run the processs the body lights up and the cells respond and resonate with the work being done.

The Body processes are easy to do and amazing to experience.  There are many to choose from.  Here are some of the options available:  strengthening the immune system, removing trauma from the cells, lymphatic and glandular clearing, opening the lungs to increase ventilation, restoring the cellular memory, easing emotions, loving your body, Energetic facelift and so many more…

As you can hear, this work is exciting, stimulating and most importantly simple and totally supportive for both the therapist and the client.  They have brought a new dimension to my work, and even the energy in my products have stepped up to a whole new dimension,  and the wonderful feedback I have been getting confirms this.
